The main focus of this blog is to chronicle my journey into the world of writing and publishing. It is mainly for myself and my own reflection, but I would love to share some of my experiences with other aspiring writers out there. There does not seem to be much in the way of resources that really lay things out for someone attempting to break into the business.
As the journey begins, I have successfully published two pieces of flash fiction in anthologies compiled by Pill Hill Press and offered on Amazon.com. Both were "for the love" projects that resulted in no compensation besides getting to see my name in print. I will be reporting back on my trials and tribulations as I attempt to actually earn some money practicing my craft.
Since one of my other passions is technology, I will be logging my attempts to navigate various platforms available to authors on the internet, such as this blog and various forms of social media and networking. I will also be sharing some opinions and expertise on the latest bits of gear out there, especially as they pertain to writing world.
